Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Compute SME to support and optimize on-premises datacentre platforms with a focus on Cisco UCS, Dell server infrastructure, Windows and Linux OS, VMware vSphere, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). The role is onsite and will own the compute layer end-to-end-covering design input, build, patching, lifecycle management, operations, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and automation-while collaborating closely with storage, network, security, and application teams. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for escalations and change delivery across compute and virtualization, ensuring high availability, capacity alignment, and adherence to security and compliance standards.

Skills Required:
- 7-10+ years in datacentre compute/virtualization engineering, including onsite operations.
- Cisco UCS (UCS Manager/Intersight, FIs, profiles, policies, fabric interconnects)
- Dell PowerEdge servers (iDRAC, firmware/driver lifecycle, diagnostics).
- VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, DRS/HA, vMotion) and VCF (understanding of NSX and vSAN integrations).
- Operating Systems: Windows Server (AD-joined workloads, Failover Clustering) and Linux (RHEL) administration.
- Strong grasp of networking fundamentals and storage concepts
- Proven troubleshooting across hardware, hypervisor, OS, and virtualization stack.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
