Position Summary
Tech Destin is looking for a Senior InRule Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex business rule management solutions. InRule is a premier Business Rule Management System (BRMS) that allows organizations to externalize business logic from their code, enabling faster updates and greater transparency. As an Architect, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for the entire InRule lifecycle, from installation and configuration to the establishment of governance standards and the development of sophisticated rulesets.
Core Responsibilities
- Platform Architecture & Installation: Lead the installation and configuration of the InRule platform across various environments (Dev, QA, Production). Ensure the platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Governance & Onboarding: Establish access roles, security protocols, and onboarding processes for rule authors and developers. Define rule development standards and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability across the enterprise.
- Rule Development & Management: Design and develop complex rulesets using irAuthor. Manage the rule lifecycle using irCatalog, ensuring proper versioning and deployment strategies are in place.
- Integration & API Management: Architect the integration of InRule with external applications, databases, and cloud services. Utilize irServer to expose rules as services and ensure seamless communication between the rule engine and the calling applications.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor platform adoption and performance. Identify bottlenecks in rule execution and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and subject matter experts to translate complex business requirements into executable rules. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and rule authors.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with the InRule BRMS suite (irAuthor, irServer, irCatalog, irSDK).
- A minimum of 3 major InRule implementation projects successfully delivered in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of .NET technologies and C# for custom function development and integration.
- Experience with SQL Server and data modeling for rule integration.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for rule deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will demonstrate the strategic value of externalizing business logic. By decoupling rules from the core application code, you enable business users to make rapid changes to logic without requiring a full software release cycle. This agility is critical for modern enterprises operating in highly regulated or fast-changing markets. You will be responsible for ensuring that the InRule implementation supports this goal while maintaining high standards of technical excellence and system integrity.

Minimum of 3 major InRule implementation projects required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
