Role Overview
Tekwings LLC is looking for an experienced Integrated District Support Data Analyst for a high-impact project with the State of Texas. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within the state of Texas. The role involves supporting the Division of Integrated District Supports by developing platforms that showcase school system data in a clear and usable manner. You will be instrumental in turning complex datasets into actionable insights that help schools set meaningful goals and improve student outcomes. This position requires a unique blend of technical data analysis skills and a deep understanding of the public education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze comprehensive school system data to generate practical recommendations for school priorities and growth.
- Develop and maintain low-code platforms using tools like Microsoft Power Platform and Qualtrics to display data and collect stakeholder feedback.
- Design and build intuitive dashboards and automated data collection tools (forms, surveys) for non-technical users.
- Conduct statutory data analysis across federal and state plans to identify overlaps and propose ways to unify reporting requirements.
- Create and manage scoring tools and trackers, such as Excel scorecards, to monitor school system progress and application reviews.
- Communicate complex data findings to diverse audiences, including agency staff and school administrators.
- Collaborate with policy experts to ensure data tools align with state and federal compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Storytelling.
- At least 8 years of experience with low-code development platforms (Power Platform, etc.).
- Prior experience working within the public education sector or with state government agencies is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management tools.
- Strong ability to synthesize information across multiple datasets and policies.
- Must possess an active Texas Driver’s License and a valid LinkedIn profile for submission.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks asynchronously in a remote environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
