Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced iOS Tester to join our team in Cupertino, CA. This is a contract position where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our iOS applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify, document, and track bugs, as well as validate fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing of iOS applications.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Analyze logs and debug issues across distributed systems.
- Validate workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking systems.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Utilize device automation frameworks, including XCUI.
- Work with internal test frameworks and automation infrastructure.
- Familiarity with E2E testing methodologies and system-level validation.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to independently triage issues.
Technical Skills Required:
- Programming and automation experience with Python and Java.
- Experience with device automation frameworks (e.g., XCUI).
- Understanding of backend services and system integrations.
- Experience validating workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Good understanding of database connectivity and data access, connecting to data sources and SQL.
- Familiarity with containerization, cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), and data pipeline technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark).
- Ability to work with internal test frameworks and automation infrastructure.
- Familiarity with E2E testing methodologies and system level validation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an iOS Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem and testing best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
