Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across enterprise IT categories, including SaaS, software, hardware, and IT services. This role involves managing the full RFx lifecycle, driving multi-million-dollar vendor negotiations, and optimizing supplier strategies. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing and category management for enterprise IT spend.
- Manage the end-to-end RFx process, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ development.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and supplier assessments.
- Negotiate complex contracts and pricing with IT vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
- Develop and execute category strategies to optimize the IT vendor landscape.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.
- Manage vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within IT procurement.
- Stay current with IT market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sourcing and procurement.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in IT category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
- Proven experience negotiating enterprise SaaS, software, and hardware agreements.
- Experience working with major IT vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving significant cost savings and executing sourcing strategies.
- Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data modeling and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of IT professional services sourcing (e.g., Infosys, Wipro, Accenture).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience sourcing IT professional services.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience with e-procurement tools and systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
