About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role operates in a matrixed environment, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including senior executives, often without direct authority. A significant focus will be on divestiture and business separation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex IT projects.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Oversee risk management activities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Spearhead divestiture and business separation projects, including infrastructure, applications, and data migration.
- Maintain business continuity and data integrity throughout separation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Present project status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance.
Project Focus: Divestiture & Business Separation
This role requires a strong understanding of the unique challenges associated with IT divestitures and business separations. Candidates must have experience in managing the migration of infrastructure, applications, and data while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations and maintaining data integrity. Experience with carve-out projects is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Project Management Experience: 8-10+ years of IT project/program management experience.
- Divestiture/Carve-out Experience: Proven experience with large-scale IT implementations and divestitures/carve-out projects.
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies; PMP certification is preferred.
- Financial Management: Expertise in project finance and budgeting.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with infrastructure, ERP systems, data migration, and compliance requirements.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead large teams and present effectively to executives.
- Work Arrangement: Ability to work onsite/travel as required. The role is locally preferred with 5 days onsite, or alternatively, 4 days onsite out of Lisle, IL office with frequent travel to plant locations.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
