Job Summary

CSG Government Solutions is seeking an experienced IV&V Analyst with Testing SME expertise to join our MO Workers Comp IV&V project team. This role will primarily be remote, with potential for on-site activities. The project involves the modernization of the Workers Comp System using a hybrid Agile SDLC methodology and Jira for Application LifeCycle Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess documented test plans and test case specifications to ensure adherence to defined testing methodology and standards.
  • Analyze test requirements through critical thinking and determine required test coverage.
  • Monitor the execution of test cases to assess adequate testing of desired functionality.
  • Evaluate, document, and report test results, trending, and defect status.
  • Create and submit regular status reports on testing progress and performance trends.
  • Assist with identifying testing risks and provide input to risk mitigation activities.
  • Analyze testing of application defects and enhancements.
  • Participate in design, development, and testing meetings as needed.
  • Assess DDI Vendor WBS Schedules for consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain focus on client expectations during UAT by identifying, verifying, and communicating client requests and prioritizing work.
  • Support the Project Manager with weekly and monthly reporting and presentation development.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience writing test scenarios, detailed test cases, and scripts to validate business scenarios from user stories.
  • Experience testing web applications for functional components, business rules, and validations.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting on testing trends, performance, and results in a hybrid/agile development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience using Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps) is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the defect life cycle.
  • Demonstrated understanding of schedule management using tools such as MS Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Software Engineering or similar field preferred.
  • Expertise with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Project).

Required Experience

  • Workers Compensation business processes and IV&V experience with State is a must.
  • Experience with all facets of the testing life cycle, including supporting UAT and using a requirements traceability matrix.

Preferred Experience

  • Good understanding of Workers Compensation business processes is a plus.

Employment Type

Contract, 1 year duration.


Special Requirements

Primarily Remote with potential on-site activities. Preference will be given to local candidates. Interview Type: Video (2 rounds). Workers Compensation business processes and IV&V experience with State is must.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Jefferson City, MO
