Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect with a strong background in Java programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust architectural solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, along with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-level architecture for software applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to be used in projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues, proposing solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Mentor and train junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming, with extensive experience in building enterprise-level applications.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Proven experience in leading architectural design and implementation for large-scale applications.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $70 per year
