Job Title: Java AWS + Spark
This is a contract position for a Java AWS + Spark developer. The role requires an end-to-end product mindset, encompassing design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Core Java and J2EE, including experience with J2EE design patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications using Core Java and J2EE.
- Create and consume REST APIs and Microservices.
- Develop applications leveraging expertise in Spark.
- Implement solutions using Angular or React.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for automated builds and deployments.
- Write unit tests using Junit and Mockito.
- Work with both SQL and No-SQL databases.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment using Jira and Git.
- Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Leverage cloud services on AWS, including EKS, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS, Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK), and CloudWatch.
Required Experience:
- 14+ years of overall experience.
- Recent banking experience is mandatory.
- USA onsite experience is mandatory.
