Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team in a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. This role requires a candidate with 10+ years of experience and specific work authorization (H1B / GC EAD / H4 EAD with Passport Number mandatory). Local candidates from Charlotte, NC or nearby are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and DevOps.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience as a Java Backend Developer.
- Strong experience with Java (8/11/17+).
- Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Kafka or messaging systems.
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes is a plus.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
