Job Title: Java Developer
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong AWS cloud-native application development experience to join our team in New York City, NY. This is an onsite contract role requiring a candidate with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Java on AWS.
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using relevant technologies.
- Work with cloud database technologies to support application needs.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Integrate and manage authentication protocols such as SAML and JWT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- AWS Cloud native application development experience is a must.
- Experience with AWS Infrastructure provisioning technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud database technologies.
- Must have experience with Java and Python.
- Must have experience with Git, unit testing, Dev Ops, CI/CD.
- Have experience with authentication protocols SAML and JWT.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes containers running in AWS is a plus.
