Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with 13+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. This role requires a strong background in enterprise server-side applications using J2EE technologies, with a focus on Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and global IT partners to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
- Understand, adhere to, and enforce system architecture and integration design standards, ensuring alignment with broader platform strategies and business objectives.
- Provide stable, robust, and scalable technical solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage in hands-on code development and ensure comprehensive test coverage based on project delivery requirements.
- Actively participate in sprint grooming, planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Stay current with new development best practices, emerging tools, and advanced test coverage strategies.
- Work with AI tools and models to enhance development processes and solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Over 13 years of work experience primarily focused on building enterprise server-side applications using J2EE Technologies.
- Excellent Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate programming skills.
- Strong proficiency in Design Patterns and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring, ORM/Hibernate, XML, XPath, XSLT, Web Services (RESTful), and Web Servers (Apache Tomcat preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Junit and profiling tools like J-Profiler/J-probe.
- Proficiency in SQL queries for databases (Sybase or DB2 preferred).
- Expertise in working with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and JSON formats.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps integration.
- Exposure to JIRA or other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Desired Skills
- Good understanding or experience in UI Technologies such as Angular, JS, or React.
- Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Knowledge of Financial Markets, Banking products, and Wealth Management domains.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
