Job Description: Java Developer
We are seeking experienced Senior Software Developers to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidates will possess strong expertise in Java backend development and Angular frontend frameworks, coupled with hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Duo and Large Language Models (LLMs) like Gemini. This role is focused on building scalable, high-performance applications while embracing modern AI-assisted coding practices to enhance productivity and code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitLab Duo and LLM-based coding assistants like Gemini) to accelerate the development lifecycle and improve overall code quality.
- Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services utilizing Java-based frameworks.
- Build responsive and modern user interface (UI) components using Angular (preferably the latest versions such as Angular 19).
- Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and optimize application performance for efficiency and scalability.
- Adhere to best practices in software development, testing methodologies, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java development, with a preference for Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Solid experience in building modern frontend applications using Angular (preferably Angular 19).
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools, including:
- GitLab Duo or comparable AI coding assistants.
- Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Gemini or similar platforms.
- Experience in building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- A strong understanding of software design principles, clean code practices, and version control systems (Git/GitLab).
- Proven experience working within Agile / Scrum development environments.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Flutter development using Dart.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
