Job Title: Java Developer (12+ years experience)
We have a priority requirement with one of our clients for a skilled Java Developer. This role requires extensive experience in core Java, J2EE, and modern frameworks, with a strong focus on microservices architecture and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services, and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, MQ).
- Design and implement RESTful microservices leveraging AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Amazon Aurora, ALB, and Route 53.
- Utilize GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins for code management, build, and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment to production environments.
- Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Work with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Postgress).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in Java development.
- Expertise in Microservices, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and AWS cloud services (ECS, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Aurora, ALB, Route 53).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and relational databases like Postgress.
- Familiarity with message queue technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
