Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The role requires strong software engineering experience, particularly in leading technical projects and developing robust Java applications. You will work with modern technologies and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications.
  • Act as a technical lead on software engineering projects.
  • Implement features using Java, Annotations, Threading, and Lambdas.
  • Manage file operations and implement security vulnerability mitigations.
  • Work with encryption algorithms and authentication tags.
  • Integrate with Kafka and implement API authentication (OAuth, SOAP, REST).
  • Utilize AWS SDK for S3 and manage secure stores using HashiCorp or equivalent.
  • Design and implement configure-driven architectures.
  • Work with data formats like JSON, XML, and YAML.
  • Leverage Business Rules Engines such as Drools, Kogito, or Red Hat Decision Manager.
  • Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift, KNative, and Quarkus.
  • Ensure compatibility and performance on both Windows and Linux environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive Software Engineering experience.
  • Previous experience as a Tech Lead.
  • Proficiency in Java, Annotations, Threading, and Lambdas.
  • Experience with File Management and Security Vulnerability Mitigations.
  • Knowledge of Encryption Algorithms and Authentication Tags.
  • Experience with Kafka and API authentication (OAuth, SOAP, REST).
  • Familiarity with AWS SDK for S3 and Secure Stores (HashiCorp or equivalent).
  • Experience in designing configure-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency with JSON, XML, and YAML.
  • Experience with Business Rules Engines (Drools, Kogito, Red Hat Decision Manager).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms like OpenShift, KNative, and Quarkus.
  • Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Additional Information:

This is a contract position. The role is based in Charlotte, NC.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
