Job Title: Java Developer (Ex-JPMC Only)

This is an urgent opening for a Java Developer position with a requirement for candidates who have prior experience at JPMC. The role is based in New York, NY, and is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications using Core Java.
  • Design and develop applications using J2EE, with experience in J2EE design patterns.
  • Create and consume REST APIs and Microservices.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit and Mockito.
  • Experience with both SQL and No-SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Git.
  • Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.
  • Extensive experience with Cloud AWS services including EKS, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS, Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK), and Cloud Watch.
  • The role requires an end-to-end product mindset, covering design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Must have prior experience working at JPMC. A JPMC SID Number is required.
  • Strong Core Java and J2EE development skills.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL/No-SQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
