Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer with a minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience, specifically with Java version 8 or above. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the Spring Boot framework and demonstrate strong proficiency in various AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch. A solid understanding of RESTful web services and experience with version control systems like Git/GitLab are essential. Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and/or Gradle is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Implement solutions using the Spring Boot framework.
- Leverage AWS services for scalable and robust application deployment.
- Design and consume RESTful web services.
- Utilize Git/GitLab for version control.
- Manage builds using Maven or Gradle.
Preferred/Optional Skills:
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of SOAP and Rest-based web services.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.
