Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in Core Java, Springboot, and Microservices development. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Apache Camel for system integration and Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures. This role is based in Jersey City, NJ, and requires candidates to be local to the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using Springboot and Microservices architecture.
- Implement system integrations using Apache Camel.
- Design and develop event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Work in an Agile delivery environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Springboot, Microservices based development.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Camel for system integration.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services, including Azure DB.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing using Postman.
- Experience of working in Agile delivery.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Quarkus for building lightweight, cloud-native applications.
- Insurance domain knowledge and experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
