Job Description: Java Developer with US Bank Experience
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications. This role requires hands-on experience with core and advanced Java concepts, RESTful API development, and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud services.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using core and advanced Java concepts.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs leveraging Java and Spring Framework modules.
- Develop robust automated unit tests using JUnit and mocking frameworks (Mockito, JMock, etc.).
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance data access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness NextGen, and other DevOps tools.
- Work with AWS cloud services to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications.
- Use tools such as Postman for API testing and Splunk for application monitoring and log analysis.
- Support front-end integrations using Angular and JavaScript where required.
- Build and run containerized applications using Docker.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Java Developer.
- Expertise in core and advanced Java concepts.
- Experience with Spring Framework modules for API development.
- Proficiency in developing unit tests with JUnit and mocking frameworks (Mockito, JMock).
- Strong SQL skills for writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Harness NextGen.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services for deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Experience with application monitoring tools like Splunk.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with Docker for containerization.
- Mandatory: Previous experience working with US Bank systems or projects.
