Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in system design and development for APIs. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience and possess must-have skills in Java, Springboot, Kafka, microservices, and MongoDB. A key requirement for this role is the ability to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) tools like GitHub Copilot for API creation, contributing at least 10% of their work using these technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust APIs using Java, Springboot, and microservices architecture.
- Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Utilize MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
- Apply Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance development efficiency and create new APIs, aiming for at least 10% contribution in this area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Required Skills:
- 8-10 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Kafka, microservices, and MongoDB.
- Experience in System Design and Development for APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to use Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code generation and API creation.
- Strong understanding of backend development principles.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:
- This is a contract position.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
