Role Overview:
We are seeking an Application Developer to join our team and help build out the Financial Crimes platform, initially focused on the Anti-money laundering journey. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a passion for building modern, user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop frontend components using React and JavaScript/Typescript to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Build and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Eclipse Vert.x.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily standups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack.
- Ensure code quality through testing and test automation.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack application development.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/Typescript, Kotlin, and Java.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Taking accountability and responsibility for code that you own & maintain.
Preferred Attributes:
- Outgoing and proactive in team interactions.
- Comfortable presenting ideas and engaging in technical discussions.
- Passionate about building clean, maintainable code.
- Experience in risk, compliance, or audit-related applications is a plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
Location: Phoenix, AZ
