Job Description: Java Developer
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications. This role requires a strong understanding of modern Java frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust Java applications.
- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
- Work with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for application deployment and management.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GCP Cloud Build.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Adhere to DevOps best practices and cloud-native application development principles.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining reactive, event-driven microservices using Vert.x is a plus.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GCP Cloud Build).
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is also valuable.
- Understanding of DevOps practices.
