Job Description: Java FSD with AWS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team. This is a contract position requiring local or nearby candidates for NYC/Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient cloud-based applications using AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda).
  • Implement system design, application development, testing, and ensure operational stability.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to large-scale implementations.
  • Develop and maintain code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure adherence to software development best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Banking domain experience (minimum 3-4 years in recent projects)
  • Experience with tools like Copilot and Codeium

Experience:

  • 9+ years of experience in full-stack Java development.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with core Java, Spring, Kafka, and REST services.
  • Must have experience in Cassandra, Cockroach, Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Experience in Python or Scripting and DevOps.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of Banking domain experience in recent projects.

  • NYC/Wilmington, DE (Local Or Nearby candidates preferred)
