Job Description: Java FSD with AWS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong AWS expertise for a critical role in Reston, VA. This is an onsite position requiring local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust Java, J2EE applications.
  • Implement microservices architecture and develop RESTful web services.
  • Utilize Python for backend development and scripting.
  • Develop front-end components using Angular (versions 4/5/6/8), JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Leverage Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate for backend development.
  • Integrate applications using SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, and file/data transfers.
  • Work within an Agile Scrum software development methodology.
  • Develop and deploy applications in distributed environments.
  • Utilize AWS services including AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS CLI/CloudFormation, and serverless deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

Required Skillsets:

  • Minimum 9+ years of programming experience with Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services.
  • Proficiency in Python and microservices development.
  • Experience with Angular 4/5/6/8, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Strong knowledge of Microservices, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Application Integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, File/Data transfers).
  • Proven experience in Agile Scrum software development Methodology.
  • Experience developing in distributed application environments.
  • Strong AWS Experience including AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS CLI/Yaml/Cloud Formation, Serverless Deployment.
