Position Summary
Livemindz is looking for a seasoned Java Full Stack Backend Engineer to join our team onsite in Sunrise, FL. This is a high-impact role requiring a developer with 8+ years of professional experience in Java and modern open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will be a ‘clean code’ advocate who follows SOLID principles and thrives in a fast-paced Agile environment. This position is offered on a C2C basis and requires local candidates who can work onsite daily.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java 8 and Spring Boot (version 5+).
- Build responsive and dynamic front-end components using React JS.
- Design and implement Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Work with messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments within a CI/CD pipeline.
- Utilize Vert.X for reactive application development.
- Manage and optimize both SQL (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software increments.
- Handle multiple data formats including XML and JSON for complex integrations.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to architectural standards.
Required Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API design.
- Strong proficiency in React JS for front-end development.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, and Vert.X.
- Proficiency with build tools like Gradle and CI/CD automation.
- Deep understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies.
- Commitment to SOLID principles and writing maintainable, clean code.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative Agile setting.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
