About the Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced Java Sr Developer for an onsite position in Orlando, FL. This role requires a minimum of 15+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, high-volume applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with guest-facing applications, cloud technologies (AWS), and modern development practices. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, high-volume applications, particularly guest-facing applications.
- Utilize Java 11+, JavaScript, and Python for development.
- Develop frontend components using Angular (preferred), HTML5/CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js, RESTful APIs, and Microservices with OneID authentication.
- Work with data and messaging technologies like XML, JSON, and DynamoDB (NoSQL).
- Implement and manage monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Imperva, and Grafana.
- Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Harness for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Manage code using Git-based version control (GitHub, GitLab).
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Deploy and manage applications on Windows/AWS server environments.
- Leverage AWS technologies in a multi-region cloud environment.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Integrate with service APIs and/or SDKs.
- Understand and apply agile processes, using version control and project management tools (e.g., Github, Harness, SVN, Jira).
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
- Demonstrate creative and inventive problem-solving skills.
- Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a team-focused approach.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 15+ years of vast experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume applications.
- Extensive hands-on experience in guest-facing applications.
- Proficiency in Java 11+, JavaScript, Python.
- Experience with Angular (preferred), HTML5/CSS3, TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js, RESTful APIs, Microservices.
- Familiarity with DynamoDB (NoSQL).
- Experience with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, Imperva, Grafana).
- Experience with CI/CD and Version Control (Jenkins, Harness, Git).
- Experience with ITSM (ServiceNow).
- Experience with Windows/AWS server environments.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Akamai is an advantage.
- Experience with payment knowledge is an added advantage.
Client Information:
The client for this role is HCL. Profiles with H1B and OPT visas are not considered for this role, requiring a minimum of 14+ years of experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,600 – $176,800 per year (Estimated)
