Job Title: Java Tech Lead

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead with a strong background in enterprise web application architecture, advanced Java concepts, and financial technology. The ideal candidate will have experience with Angular front-end development, Java back-end development, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) application development. Banking and payment domain experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for application development projects.
  • Lead the design and development of applications using Angular for the front-end and Java for the back-end.
  • Oversee application development within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, architecture, and cloud deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and technical decisions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 13+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Tech Lead or Architect role.
  • Proven experience building applications with Angular (version 13+) for the front-end and Java for the back-end.
  • Experience with building and deploying applications in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Web Application Architecture and Advanced Java Concepts.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Banking and Financial Technology domain.
  • Experience with payment systems.

Duration:

12+ months / Long-term Contract
