Role Overview

We are seeking a Jr. QA Analyst to support testing lifecycle deliverables and ensure successful implementation of test strategies for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing on custom applications and GIS components
  • Develop test plans, execute test cases, and analyze results
  • Support Agile testing processes and collaborate with business/technical teams
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and demos
  • Assist in UAT preparation, execution, and documentation
  • Track and report testing status, risks, and issues

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of QA/testing experience in software development
  • Strong experience in manual and/or automated testing
  • Experience with test plans, test cases, RTM, and UAT
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Hands-on with defect tracking tools
  • Experience with GitHub and ServiceNow
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing GIS applications
  • Exposure to public sector projects
  • Mobile testing experience (plus)
  • Certifications like CAST, CSTE, CSQA, CMSQ

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field

Compensation & Location

Salary: $40 – $55 per hour

Location: Atlanta, GA
