Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using the latest Microsoft technologies. This role requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong emphasis on .NET 8, MVC Framework, SQL databases, and modern JavaScript practices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and ongoing support, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable and maintainable web applications using .NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, and related technologies.
- Develop robust and efficient back-end services, APIs, and business logic using C# within the .NET 8 framework.
- Design, implement, and optimize SQL database schemas, stored procedures, and queries to support application functionalities.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., jQuery, or a contemporary framework like Angular/React/Vue.js if applicable to the existing tech stack).
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks across the full stack.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Implement and maintain automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and practices to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in .NET 8 and ASP.NET MVC Framework is essential.
- Strong command of C# programming language.
- Extensive experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of front-end web technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with client-side scripting, AJAX, and modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful API design and consumption.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with third party tools like Govlution payment portal or LexisNexis.
Special Requirements
Only Local to MD or DC or VA. OPT also works. Hybrid.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,200 – $93,600 per year (Estimated)
