Job Description: Kinaxis Senior Solution Consultant
We are seeking a highly experienced Kinaxis Senior Solution Consultant for a long-term contract role. This position offers remote work flexibility, with occasional travel to client locations (SFO, CA) as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:
Core Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro configuration and authoring.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning concepts (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP).
- Experience working in Agile delivery models (Scrum, sprint-based execution).
- Ability to translate complex business scenarios into scalable Kinaxis solutions.
Technical & Functional Exposure:
- Functional knowledge of ERP and planning integrations (e.g., SAP ECC / S4, APO).
- Experience supporting data validation, workflow testing, and production deployments.
- Exposure to Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods planning environments (preferred).
Role Summary:
The Kinaxis Senior Solution Consultant is responsible for leading functional configuration and solution delivery on Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro implementations. This role bridges business requirements and system design, owns complex configuration and modelling activities, mentors junior consultants, and works closely with Solution Architects, Integration Leads, and client stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end delivery across planning streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Configuration:
- Lead functional configuration and modelling in Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro across Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, and Capacity Planning streams.
- Translate business requirements into Kinaxis functional designs, user stories, and configuration tasks.
- Configure and author Kinaxis components including workbooks, worksheets, measures, hierarchies, calendars, alerts, searches, scheduled tasks, and automation chains.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable, industry-aligned planning solutions.
Delivery & Execution:
- Own sprint-level delivery including estimation, build, unit testing, and demo sessions.
- Support SIT, UAT, PQ, and production deployments in coordination with business and QA teams.
- Ensure adherence to client deployment, release management, and validation standards.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and stabilization.
Integration & Data Management:
- Work closely with Integration Leads to support data migration and integration from source systems (e.g., SAP, middleware).
- Validate inbound and outbound data, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure closed-loop planning integrity.
- Support admin-level configurations such as custom tables, tolerances, batch jobs, and automation monitoring.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor and guide Solution Consultants on feature development, modelling standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects on solution design, sprint planning, and overall roadmap.
- Conduct solution walkthroughs, demos, and design discussions with client stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal knowledge assets, accelerators, and reusable components.
Certifications (Preferred / Mandatory depending on program):
- Kinaxis Solution Consultant – Level 1
- Kinaxis Author Certification – Level 2

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
