Job Role: Lead AI Platform and Automation Engineer

3B Staffing is seeking a Contract Lead AI Platform and Automation Engineer for roles in Atlanta, Georgia or Mahwah, New Jersey. This is a high-impact position for a technically strong leader who can own and scale enterprise AI platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary owner of the IBM watsonx platform and Google Cloud Vertex AI platform, providing support to Azure.
  • Drive adoption, standardization, automation, and governance across the organization for AI platforms.
  • Lead a team responsible for day-to-day AI model and application onboarding.
  • Oversee pipeline automation, DevSecOps integration, BI tooling, and AI governance.
  • Maintain IBM watsonx.governance and Vertex AI.
  • Lead technical teams, architect solutions, scale platforms, and align multiple teams across engineering, data science, and business domains.
  • Lead Platform, Pipelines Automation (Data Pipelines, AI / Model Training Pipelines, Deploying Application, Models Automation through CICD, IaC (Vertex AI, Azure, IBM watsonX)).
  • Provide templates for application automation.
  • Manage Agentic AI pipelines and Governance.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Lead the team for Platform and Pipelines Automation.
  • Expertise in Data Pipelines, AI / Model Training Pipelines.
  • Experience deploying applications and models through CICD.
  • Proficiency in IaC (Vertex AI, Azure, IBM watsonX).
  • Ability to provide templates for application automation.
  • Experience with Agentic AI pipelines and Governance.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance principles.

Requirements:

  • USC/GC candidates only.
  • Must be local to Atlanta, Georgia or Mahwah, New Jersey.
  • Must have a Driver’s License (DL).
  • Onsite Interview required.
  • Experience leading technical teams and architecting AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with IBM watsonx, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Azure.
