Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Lead AI Platform & Automation Engineer to own and scale our enterprise AI platform capabilities. This role will serve as the primary owner of the IBM watsonx platform and Google Cloud Vertex AI platform, while providing support to Azure. The objective is to drive adoption, standardization, automation, and governance across the organization. The role also includes leading a team responsible for day-to-day AI model and application onboarding, pipeline automation, DevSecOps integration, BI tooling, and AI governance, including the maintenance of IBM watsonx.governance and Vertex AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a technical team focused on AI platform and automation.
- Own and scale enterprise AI platform capabilities.
- Serve as the primary owner for IBM watsonx and Google Cloud Vertex AI platforms.
- Provide support for Azure AI services.
- Drive adoption, standardization, automation, and governance of AI platforms.
- Manage day-to-day AI model and application onboarding.
- Implement and manage pipeline automation (Data Pipelines, AI/Model Training Pipelines, Deployment Automation via CICD, IaC).
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into the AI platform lifecycle.
- Oversee BI tooling related to AI platforms.
- Ensure robust AI governance, including maintenance of IBM watsonx.governance and Vertex AI.
- Provide templates for application automation.
- Develop and manage Agentic AI pipelines.
Mandatory Skills
- Leadership experience in managing technical teams.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AI platforms, specifically IBM watsonx and Google Cloud Vertex AI.
- Experience with Azure AI services.
- Proficiency in Pipeline Automation, including Data Pipelines, AI/Model Training Pipelines, and Deployment Automation through CICD and IaC.
- Experience with DevSecOps integration.
- Strong knowledge of AI governance principles and tools.
- Experience in providing application automation templates.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI pipelines.
Work Location
The primary work location is Atlanta, Georgia (30328), with a secondary option in Mahwah, NJ. Candidates should be local to Atlanta, GA, within a 30-minute commute.

Employment Type and Compensation
- Employment Type: Onsite W2 is implied, but other contract types may be considered based on the candidate.
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and skills. (Estimated range provided for schema compliance).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
