Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in AWS and a mandatory experience in the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and automating cloud infrastructure, leading technical solutions within a scrum team, and driving innovation. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, requiring local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning through scripting.
  • Utilize and manage a wide range of AWS services including Athena, API Gateway, ECS Fargate, Lambdas, SES, EKS, and SQS.
  • Lead the technical solutions and delivery within the scrum team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Focus on driving innovation and continuous improvements in cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure strategies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud engineering.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and handle pressure situations effectively.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 11+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Mandatory experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS services (Athena, API Gateway, ECS Fargate, Lambdas, SES, EKS, SQS).
  • Expertise in designing and developing cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Proficiency in Node.JS, Javascript, and Typescript.
  • Strong experience with Github and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to research and finding solutions.
  • Strategic mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading technical solutions within agile/scrum teams.
  • Ability to handle technical challenges and pressure situations.
  • Local to Dallas, TX is a must.

Top 3 Required Skills:

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
