Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Developer Standard II to support the implementation, scaling, and governance of a Business-Led IT (BLIT) initiative. This role focuses on enabling development through low-code/no-code platforms while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform & DevOps Enablement: Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for deploying code generated via low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Replit, Lovable) to AWS Bedrock and Azure. Establish DevSecOps practices including automation, monitoring, logging, and compliance checks. Define and enforce guardrails such as IAM, data classification, auditability, and security controls.
- Governance & Standards: Define roles, responsibilities, and governance frameworks for developers. Establish eligibility criteria, risk tiers, escalation paths, and approved use cases. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data policies, and security standards. Support governance processes including architecture reviews, security assessments, and approvals.
- Solution Architecture & Enablement: Deliver reusable assets including solution templates, reference architectures, UI standards, and integration patterns. Support low-code/no-code POCs, including vendor coordination, security reviews, and demos. Guide business users on solution pathways (Innovation Sandbox, Self-Service, Purpose-Built).
- Program Operations & Collaboration: Facilitate intake, triage, and evaluation of business-led IT requests. Coordinate across Business Units, LoB teams, Enterprise Architecture, Security (OIS), and platform teams. Support BLIT operating model adoption across stakeholders.
- Training & Community Development: Develop and deliver role-based training, onboarding materials, and hands-on labs. Establish and lead a Developer Community of Practice (CoP). Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation (process flows, RACI matrices, governance standards, user guides). Track and report progress of initiatives, pilots, and solution delivery. Prepare materials for leadership updates, governance boards, and reviews.
- Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Align with SAFe and Agile methodologies (PI Planning, system demos, backlog refinement). Identify and drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and collaboration models. Support change management and communication across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading full-stack development teams.
- Experience designing or governing developer programs (low-code/no-code platforms).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD, DevSecOps pipelines, and tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
- Experience with analytics/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT processes (architecture reviews, security, governance workflows).
- Experience defining standards, guardrails, and risk management frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of platform-based development and solution tiering models.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments (PI Planning, iterative delivery).
- SAFe Agilist certification (mandatory).
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certification (AWS and/or Azure).
- Masters degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience supporting business-driven technology initiatives or product management.
- Familiarity with compliance, data governance, and security frameworks.
Special Requirements
Hybrid 4 Days Onsite. SAFe Agilist certification is mandatory.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
