Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer with a strong background in Java and SQL for backend development, complemented by expertise in Next JS UI and React for frontend development. This is a critical role requiring a Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, demonstrating a robust understanding of both frontend and backend development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams in the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Java and SQL.
- Build and enhance user interfaces using Next JS and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Java and SQL for backend development.
- Extensive experience with NextJS and React for frontend development.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering successful software projects.
- In-depth understanding of software product domains.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
- This is a contract-to-hire (C2H) position.
- The role requires the candidate to be onsite from Day 1, 4 days a week.
- Must be able to convert to a full-time employee without sponsorship.

- Rate: $55/hr
- Duration: 6+ months

Compensation & Location
Salary: $114,400 – $114,400 per year
