Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Golang Developer to join our client’s dynamic team. This role requires a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on Go, Python, and AWS. The ideal candidate will lead integration efforts for payment systems, ensuring seamless communication and efficient transaction processing. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3-4 days onsite per week at the client’s office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment System Integration: Lead the integration of payment routing engines into our systems, ensuring compatibility with various payment gateways, processors, and financial institutions.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis of existing systems and infrastructure to identify integration points and potential challenges.
  • API Integration: Design and implement APIs to facilitate communication between our applications and the payment acquirers, ensuring smooth data exchange.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize payment routing parameters based on business requirements, ensuring optimal transaction flow and routing decisions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of payment transactions.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve integration issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of payment routing processes, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Must-Have Skills:

  • JQ, GO, OOPS, Python, AWS, REST API, Payments, Exp GO Template

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years hands-on experience working in production environments.
  • Proficiency in JQ and YQ for data manipulation and querying.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in various languages.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Go.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful Web Services.
  • Familiarity with MySQL and AWS Aurora databases.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Good knowledge in tools like Postman, GIT, and other standard industry tools.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and data interchange formats (JSON, XML).
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with offshore teams.
  • Highly adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, critical project environments.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Requires to be onsite 3-4 days a week, at client office.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Englewood, CO
