Job Title: Lead – Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead – Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to join our team. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the client office and 2 days of work from home. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, with a strong focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter and integrations.

  • Must-Have Skills:
    • Guidewire PolicyCenter (Expert proficiency required)
    • Guidewire Integration
    • Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (Expert proficiency recommended)
  • Experience: Approximately 8 years of experience, with at least 2-3 years in a Tech Lead role. A minimum of 5 years of overall experience is preferable.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • Java
    • Design Innovation
    • Technical Architecture

Responsibilities:

As a Software Development Lead, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for developing and configuring software systems. You will make team decisions, manage stakeholders, and contribute to key project decisions.

  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet client needs.
  • Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Mentor team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Ensure expert proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire Advanced Product Designer.
  • Leverage advanced proficiency in Design Innovation, Guidewire Integration, and Java where applicable.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
  • Industry experience, specifically with the Guidewire platform, is mandatory.

  • Work Location: Hartford, CT or Hunt Valley, MD

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
