Position Summary: Lead Java/Golang Developer
Source InfoTech Inc. is looking for a Lead Application Developer with a specialized focus on Java and Golang for a critical project located in McLean, Virginia. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between traditional Java-based microservices and modern, high-performance Golang implementations. A strict prerequisite for this position is prior experience working at Capital One, as the project involves navigating specific internal frameworks and architectural patterns established within that environment.
Technical Requirements and Core Competencies
- Expertise in Java and Scala for building enterprise-grade applications and microservices.
- Strong proficiency in Golang for developing high-concurrency, low-latency backend services.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, specifically Lambdas, ECS, and DynamoDB.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation within a microservices architecture.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining event-driven systems and asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for observability, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
Leadership and Strategic Impact
As a Lead Developer, you will not only contribute high-quality code but also provide technical guidance to the development team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the application architecture is scalable, resilient, and aligned with the client’s long-term technology roadmap. Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
