About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant with extensive experience in Oracle HCM interfaces. This techno-functional role requires a deep understanding of OIC capabilities, industry best practices, and the ability to lead complex integration projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust integration solutions, acting as a key technical and functional advisor to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- OIC Integrations: In-depth working experience on Oracle Integration Cloud integrations, specifically for Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Absences, and OTL).
- Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement OIC integration solutions using pre-built adapters, REST/SOAP web services, File Based Data Import/Export (FBDI), and HDL.
- Interface Management: Handle transformations and orchestration of interfaces between various systems.
- Error Handling: Implement robust fault handling and error resolution mechanisms for integrations.
- Customizations: Develop customizations using Visual Builder, APEX, or VBCS as needed.
- Database Skills: Experience with SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation, and Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP DB).
- Connection Configuration: Configure OIC connections (SOAP, REST, FTR, etc.).
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all integration solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Raise Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle, coordinate issue resolution, and assist in identifying and resolving complex integration problems.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients frequently, participate in requirement gathering workshops, and provide expert consultation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience, with at least 2 end-to-end implementation expertise on Oracle HCM interfaces using OIC.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in OIC technologies, including pre-built adapters, REST/SOAP, FBDI, HDL, Visual Builder, APEX, VBCS, SQL, PL/SQL, and ATP DB.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent articulation and presentation abilities.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability in problem-solving, influencing, and negotiating.
- Client Facing: Experience in client-facing roles and interacting with customers during requirement gathering.
- Methodology: Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Jira Boards is a plus.
Good to Have Skills:
- Understanding of Oracle HCM modules.
- Experience with HCM Extracts and BI Reports.
Education:
Not specified, but typically a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is expected.
