Job Role: Lead Python & GenAI Migration Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Python & GenAI Migration Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join our client, Oncor, in Dallas, TX. This role is pivotal in leading the migration of existing scripts to Python while integrating cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality, performance, and security of AI-generated Python code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of scripts to Python, incorporating GenAI functionalities.
- Plan and manage migration projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and GenAI specialists.
- Oversee the development and implementation of AI-generated Python code, ensuring it meets high standards for quality, performance, and security.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and vendors for migration and GenAI integration.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the testing process to guarantee accuracy and functionality compared to original scripts.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure long-term maintainability and understanding of the new systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Python, GenAI, and migration strategies.
