Role Overview
Resource Consulting Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Salesforce Omni Developer for a critical 6-month remote engagement. This role is designed for a technical leader who possesses deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically within the OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity) suite. As a Lead Developer, you will be the technical cornerstone of the project, ensuring that all development efforts align with architectural best practices and industry standards. You will work closely with Technical Architects (TA) to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance technical designs. This position requires a unique blend of hands-on development prowess and strategic leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio components, including FlexCards, Data Mappers, and Integration Procedures.
- Enforce rigorous coding standards and lead comprehensive code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects on the design of complex user stories, providing technical feasibility assessments and innovative solutioning.
- Manage and optimize the CI/CD pipeline, proactively identifying and troubleshooting deployment issues to maintain a smooth release cycle.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
- Develop and implement best patterns and practices for error handling and logging within the Salesforce environment.
- Drive the customization of Salesforce instances using OmniStudio to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless user experiences.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- Proven track record in complex system integrations, demonstrating the ability to connect Salesforce with various third-party applications and legacy systems.
- Deep technical proficiency in OmniStudio, with a focus on building dynamic interfaces and efficient data processing logic.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and Talent Recruitment Management (TRM) is highly desirable.
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and the broader Salesforce development toolkit.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
Leadership and Soft Skills
Beyond technical expertise, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities. You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Your role as a mentor is vital; you will be expected to provide constructive feedback and help junior team members grow their technical skill sets. Problem-solving is at the heart of this role, and you should be comfortable navigating ambiguous requirements and finding efficient paths forward. The ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration is essential.
Project Context and Duration
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance. The project focuses on delivering high-impact solutions within the public sector domain, requiring a developer who is not only technically proficient but also understands the nuances of government-related technology implementations. Due to the nature of the project and client requirements, this position is strictly open to US Citizens (USC) only. You will be joining a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to leveraging the latest Salesforce innovations to drive digital transformation.
Special Requirements
Visa: USC Only. Domain: Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and Talent Recruitment Management (TRM). Interview: Technical screening followed by architectural review.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
