Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead SAP MDG Technical Consultant with over 10 years of SAP experience, specializing in Master Data Governance (MDG). This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting complex MDG solutions across various domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP MDG on S/4HANA and/or ECC, with expertise in data modeling, UI configuration, workflow design, and integration architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions for domains including Business Partner (BP), Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance (GL/Cost Center), and custom objects.
- Configure and manage MDG Data Modeling, UI configuration, workflow design, and integration architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA and/or ECC landscapes, including multi-system environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Data Replication Framework (DRF) including replication models, filters, key mapping, and value mapping.
- Implement and manage MDG workflows, agent determination, substitutions, and escalation logic.
- Utilize BRF+ rules for validations, derivations, and decision logic.
- Manage Change Request (CR) types, actions, validations, editability, field properties, and governance workflows.
- Ensure data quality through validation, duplicate checks, enrichment logic, and monitoring data governance KPIs (accuracy, completeness).
- Provide strong troubleshooting, integration, and deployment support for SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data governance implementation.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of SAP experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Experience designing and implementing MDG solutions across various domains (BP, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, custom objects).
- Proficiency in MDG Data Modeling, UI configuration, workflow design, and integration architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA and/or ECC.
- Expertise in DRF configuration, replication models, filters, key mapping, and value mapping.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting MDG workflows, agent determination, substitutions, and escalation logic.
- Strong experience with BRF+ rules for validations, derivations, and decision logic.
- Knowledge of Change Request (CR) types, actions, validations, editability, field properties, and governance workflows.
- Experience with data validation, duplicate checks, enrichment logic, and data governance KPIs.
- Strong troubleshooting, integration, and deployment support experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
