Job Title: Legal Business Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Legal Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of business analysis expertise and a strong understanding of legal processes. You will be responsible for facilitating requirement sessions, documenting business needs, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical solutions. The position is onsite and requires immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
- Review all gathered information, including notes, insights, and artifacts.
- Create and analyze affinity diagrams to identify recurring themes and priorities.
- Document key takeaways, actionable items, and recommendations.
- Share synthesized information with participants for validation and feedback.
- Create Swimlanes, affinity maps, and user journeys for process mapping to visually represent the activities of different stakeholders or teams within a design workshop session.
- Synthesize and consolidate the outcomes of workshops and sessions into clear, comprehensive, and actionable documentation.
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements using a variety of techniques such as use cases, user stories, and visual aids like diagrams and prototypes.
- Ensure that all stakeholders’ perspectives and needs are accurately represented in the resulting documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into feasible solutions.
- Provide support for testing and quality assurance activities to ensure alignment with the documented requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on legal domain.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in requirement elicitation and documentation techniques (e.g., use cases, user stories, process mapping).
- Experience with creating affinity maps, swimlanes, and user journeys.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA.
This is a full-time position requiring an immediate start. The role is onsite from day one.

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year
