Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Mainfram Systems Analyst with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The role involves inventorying, analyzing, and documenting eligibility determination logic, business rules, batch processes, system interfaces, and operational workflows within a hybrid environment. This environment includes Mainframe batch programs, COBOL modules, SQL-based logic, an Enterprise Java web application, Java Web Services, and a Business Rules Engine such as Corticon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory, analyze, and document eligibility determination logic.
- Document business rules, batch processes, and system interfaces.
- Analyze operational workflows in a hybrid environment (Mainframe, Java, SQL, etc.).
- Produce structured documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flows, rule inventories, pseudocode representations, traceability matrices, interface documentation, and system architecture documentation.
- Support operational sustainability, audit readiness, knowledge transfer, and modernization planning through comprehensive documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience (4 years of education can be included in years of experience).
- System Analysis: Experience in inventorying, analyzing, and documenting complex systems including Mainframe batch programs, COBOL modules, SQL-based logic, Enterprise Java web application, Java Web Services, and Business Rules Engine (e.g., Corticon).
- Documentation: Ability to produce detailed documentation such as SOPs, process flows, rule inventories, pseudocode, traceability matrices, interface documentation, and system architecture documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to independently plan and accomplish complex analytical tasks.

- Ability to provide detailed status report updates to the project manager.
- Experience analyzing complex systems and identifying documentation gaps.
