  • Provide high-level functional and operational support for the AASHTOWare Project Vendor Management (APVM) solution.
  • Maintain and audit construction vendor relationship data to support state-wide letting and construction activities.
  • Manage complex vendor lifecycle processes, including qualifications, insurance verification, sanctions, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical vendor-related issues that impact downstream construction operations.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure data integrity across systems that consume APVM vendor data.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Mainframe run book documentation for the Construction and Maintenance System (CMCS).
  • Perform Mainframe programming, integration, and system support activities specifically for CMCS modules.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CMCS Mainframe processes, providing guidance to stakeholders and technical partners.
  • Support system enhancements and data quality improvement initiatives to reduce manual workarounds.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of intensive experience in Mainframe run book documentation, programming, and integration specifically within the CMCS environment. Subject matter expertise in CMCS is mandatory. Furthermore, candidates with 2+ years of experience with the AASHTOWare APVM solution will be given high priority. This role is specifically designed for developers who have previously worked within a Department of Transportation (DOT) or similar transportation state agency, as familiarity with construction/maintenance systems (CMMS) is vital for success in this environment.
