Job Description: Mainframe Developer
We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2/IMS to join our team. This role involves driving development and maintenance of mainframe applications, working with databases for data access and performance tuning, and developing ZOS APIs and batches. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze legacy code, implement enhancements, and contribute to modernization projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive development and maintenance using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2/IMS.
- Work with DB2/IMS databases for data access and performance tuning.
- Develop ZOS API and batches.
- Analyze legacy code and implement enhancements or fixes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
- Interpret functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to modernization projects (e.g., re-engineering or re-platforming mainframe workloads).
- Understand Agile methodologies and DevOps for mainframe (e.g., Git, Jenkins for z/OS).
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS is a plus.
- Assembler experience is an additional advantage.

Visa: H4EAD. Location: Columbus/Dallas. Duration: 6 months.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
