Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with a strong background in CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities. This role involves development, enhancement, and implementation of mainframe applications, as well as build, deployment, and support activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices, including change and release management, and source code control. Knowledge of ITIL processes is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance applications using Mainframe technologies (CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Control-M).
- Responsible for the build, deployment, and support of applications.
- Maintain constant verbal and written communication with key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with development standards, best practices, change management, release management, and source code control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using effective problem-solving techniques.
- Possess knowledge of ITIL processes.

Experience Requirements:
- 9+ years of strong hands-on experience in Mainframe development.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in developing, supporting, and maintaining applications.
Desirable Skills:
- Financial domain experience is a plus.
- Knowledge on developing/enhancing applications involving CICS with exposure on MQ series is a must.
