About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Platform Engineer with expertise in DB2, SFTP, and JRB to join our team. This is a remote position where you will be responsible for the operational support and troubleshooting of critical mainframe systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor DB2 subsystems and batch data flows to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DB2, SFTP, and JRB processing.
- Provide support for testing, production incidents, and system upgrades.
- Maintain data integrity and availability across mainframe platforms.
- Perform job failure analysis, log/message review, and subsystem recovery.
- Ensure secure file transfer (SFTP) operations on z/OS or equivalent systems.
- Support change execution and upgrade processes.
Must-Have Skills:
- DB2 for z/OS operational support experience.
- Experience with job failure analysis, log/message review, and subsystem recovery.
- Proficiency in Secure File Transfer (SFTP) on z/OS or equivalent.
- Experience with change execution and upgrade support.
- Familiarity with JRB (Job Request Batch) systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mainframe Platform Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mainframe operating systems and environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
