Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframes Architect to join our team. This is an onsite position requiring 15+ years of experience in mainframe architecture and expertise in mainframe batch jobs. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mainframe solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design robust mainframe solutions.
- Develop and optimize mainframe batch jobs for performance and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the mainframe development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of mainframe systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mainframe issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mainframe technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience as a Mainframes Architect.
- Expertise in Mainframes Batch Jobs.
- Strong understanding of mainframe hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Proficiency in mainframe programming languages and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
- This is an onsite position located in Riverwood, IL.
- Candidate must be available to work onsite from Day 1.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
