Job ID: 1115
Strategic Leadership and Enterprise Vision
As a Manufacturing ERP Enterprise Architect, you will be the primary visionary for our end-to-end manufacturing IT landscape. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a sophisticated understanding of how technology strategy aligns with tangible business outcomes across global plants, supply chains, and engineering departments. You will be responsible for shaping the target-state architecture that will define our operations for the next five years, ensuring that every technological investment supports our broader goals of efficiency, resilience, and innovation. This role sits at the critical intersection of business architecture, data management, and industrial security, requiring a leader who can navigate both the boardroom and the shop floor.
Key Architectural Domains
- Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to govern solution designs and ensure adherence to enterprise standards across all manufacturing initiatives.
- Drive the modernization of ERP systems, including large-scale transitions to SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud, while maintaining seamless integration with legacy environments.
- Standardize MES and SCADA systems across multiple facilities to enable a unified view of production data and operational performance.
- Implement IIoT platforms and edge computing patterns to facilitate real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance on the shop floor.
- Establish robust data mesh and lakehouse architectures to support advanced AI and machine learning use cases in a manufacturing context.
- Define and enforce Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including availability, recoverability, and cybersecurity standards across the global stack.
- Partner with global networking teams to implement secure network segmentation and Zero Trust architectures for production-critical systems.
OT/IT Convergence and Industrial Innovation
A major focus of this role is the convergence of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). You will be tasked with bridging the gap between industrial control systems and cloud-based analytics platforms. This involves deep expertise in protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT, as well as a thorough understanding of ISA/IEC 62443 security standards. By enabling real-time analytics, anomaly detection, and computer vision use cases, you will help the organization transition toward Industry 4.0 maturity. Your ability to influence cross-functional leaders in Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering will be essential for the successful rollout of these digital thread initiatives.
Governance and Operational Excellence
Beyond technical design, you will establish the guardrails and standards that ensure our technology landscape remains cost-effective and compliant. This includes defining integration patterns for APIs and EDI, managing asset inventories, and coordinating patching windows for mission-critical infrastructure. You will work closely with Product and Program Owners to de-risk major delivery milestones, ensuring that architectural debt is minimized and that solutions are engineered for long-term scalability. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of security-by-design, where encryption, secrets management, and secure SDLC practices are embedded into every project.
Qualifications and Professional Impact
The ideal candidate brings over a decade of experience in enterprise architecture, with a specific focus on the unique challenges of the manufacturing sector. You should possess a deep technical background in SQL, Snowflake, and ETL tools like Informatica, combined with a mastery of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Certifications like TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or CISSP are highly desirable and reflect the level of expertise required for this position. As an Enterprise Architect, your work will directly contribute to the firm’s growth strategy, enabling us to operate more efficiently in an increasingly complex global market.
Special Requirements
Passport Number and LinkedIn profile mandatory for submission; Hybrid work model; Manufacturing domain expertise required.
